چکیده
We investigate the spectral properties of one-dimensional lattices with position-dependent hopping amplitudes and on-site potentials that are smooth bounded functions position. find an exact integral form for density states (DOS) in limit infinite number sites, which we derive using a mixed Bloch-Wannier basis consisting piecewise Wannier functions. Next, provide solution inverse problem constructing position-dependence lattice model yielding given DOS. confirm analytic results by comparing them to numerics obtained diagonalization various incarnations hoppings potentials. Finally, generalize DOS multi-orbital tight-binding models longer-range higher dimensions.

Spectral Properties of Anderson-percolation Hamiltonians
In this report we will for simplicity restrict ourselves to the following situation. We consider the graph with vertex set Z, where two of the vertices are joined by an edge if their l distance is equal to one. The group Γ := Z is acting on the graph by translations. Denote by {ΛL}L∈2N the exhaustion of Z by cubes ΛL := Z ∩ [−L/2, L/2]. We construct a probability space (Ω,A,P) associated to per...
متن کاملSpectral Curves of Non - Hermitean Hamiltonians
Recent analytical and numerical work have shown that the spectrum of the random non-hermitean Hamiltonian on a ring which models the physics of vortex line pinning in superconductors is one dimensional. In the maximally nonhermitean limit, we give a simple “one-line” proof of this feature. We then study the spectral curves for various distributions of the random site energies. We find that a cr...

The diamagnetic inequality is established for the Schrödinger operator H 0 in L (R), d = 2, 3, describing a particle moving in a magnetic field generated by finitely or infinitely many Aharonov-Bohm solenoids located at the points of a discrete set in R, e.g., a lattice. This fact is used to prove the Lieb-Thirring inequality as well as CLR-type eigenvalue estimates for the perturbed Schrödinge...
متن کاملSpectral singularities of non-Hermitian Hamiltonians and SUSY transformations
Simple examples of non-Hermitian Hamiltonians with purely real spectra defined in L(R) having spectral singularities inside the continuous spectrum are given. It is shown that such Hamiltonians may appear by shifting the independent variable of a real potential into the complex plane. Also they may be created as SUSY partners of Hermitian Hamiltonians. In the latter case spectral singularities ...
